These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Kidza, a neighborhood baby item sharing platform operated by GSB Team (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Salt Lake City, Utah. By creating an account or browsing Kidza, you agree to these Terms. We’ve written them in plain English because we want you to actually read them.
Kidza connects neighbors who want to share, swap, or offer gently used baby items. We are a technology platform — not a retailer, product inspector, or safety certifier.
We do not inspect, test, certify, store, handle, or guarantee any item listed on Kidza. All listings are created by individual users, and all exchanges happen directly between those users. Kidza is not a party to any transaction.
Secondhand baby items can carry safety risks that are not visible to us or other users. By using Kidza, you acknowledge and accept that:
Use and accept all items at your own risk.
Kidza does not process, handle, hold, or facilitate any payments. All financial exchanges — including cash, Venmo, PayPal, or any other method — occur directly between users, entirely outside of Kidza.
When a listing is marked as an “offer,” Kidza merely facilitates the introduction. We have no visibility into, and no responsibility for, the payment arrangement.
To use Kidza, you must:
By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not comply.
Kidza is currently in private beta. Browsing public listings is open to all visitors. However, posting listings, claiming items, and sending or receiving messages all require an admin-approved account.
Account approval is granted at the sole discretion of Kidza administrators. Approval may be revoked at any time for any reason, including policy violations.
You agree not to:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Read this carefully — it limits what Kidza owes you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KIDZA AND GSB TEAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:
Because Kidza is a free platform, our maximum direct liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Kidza is $0.00 (zero dollars).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kidza, GSB Team, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to:
Please try to resolve any dispute with us informally first by emailing hello@kidza.net. Most issues can be resolved quickly.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Kidza will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, not in court and not as part of a class action or class arbitration.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any arbitration shall be conducted in Salt Lake County, Utah.
You waive any right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration relating to Kidza.
Kidza may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice — including for violation of these Terms, conduct that harms the community, or if we decide to shut down or modify the platform.
You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@kidza.net. See our Privacy Policy for data retention details.
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may also notify you by email or in-app notice.
Your continued use of Kidza after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you don’t agree, please stop using the platform and close your account.
